Omer Ozusta

Omer Ozusta, Esq. is a litigation attorney based in the Reston, Virginia office of Melone Hatley, P.C. With extensive experience in trusts and estates, civil litigation, criminal defense, and immigration law, Omer brings a wealth of knowledge to his clients’ legal representation. Licensed in Virginia and the District of Columbia, he has spent his career helping individuals, families, and businesses navigate complex legal challenges.

Omer has built his career advising clients on estate planning, trust and probate administration, and business succession planning. Throughout his career, he has helped individuals and families navigate estate planning and asset protection strategies, ensuring their plans meet their personal and professional goals. His experience also includes handling multijurisdictional estate and trust administration, estate tax return filing, and structuring irrevocable trusts and other wealth-preservation vehicles.

Beyond private practice, Omer also has experience in legal research and content development, working with attorneys and corporate counsel to create compliance tools and practical guidance materials. Outside of his legal practice, Omer is a devoted father to two young children. He enjoys spending time with his family at local parks and hiking trails, as well as traveling to Turkey to visit extended family.
