Attorney Bio
Lauren Adkins joined the team of Melone Hatley, P.C. in 2025 as a Litigation Attorney working out of the Tampa office. She began her legal career as a prosecutor in Pinellas County, Florida, where she gained valuable insight into the courtroom experience and developed a passion for advocating on behalf of others. She established her own legal practice, focusing on criminal defense and family law before serving as Litigation Manager and Florida Resident Partner for another large family law firm.
Lauren chose family law because it allows her to make a meaningful impact in the lives of families navigating some of the most challenging situations facing them. She finds great fulfillment in guiding, advising, and supporting her clients through these difficult times.
In law school, Lauren was actively involved in various advocacy programs, serving as Caption of the National Trial Team, President of the Student Trial Bar, and member of Moot Court and Phi Delta Phi. She now spends her non-legal hours volunteering at her children’s schools and extracurricular activities. She is also a health and fitness enthusiast, as well as an avid NHL and NFL fan (Go bolts! Go Giants!)
