Elizabeth Moore

Elizabeth “Lizzy” Moore, Esq. is an accomplished family law attorney based in the Columbia office of Melone Hatley, P.C., with nearly a decade of experience handling complex family law cases. Licensed in both South Carolina and Florida, Lizzy has successfully represented clients in divorce, child custody, visitation, child support, modifications, contempt actions, and DSS defense cases.

Lizzy’s passion for family law stems from her early exposure to the legal field spending summers at the law firm where her grandmother worked as a paralegal. Inspired by this experience, she pursued a career dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate challenging legal situations.

Before joining Melone Hatley, P.C., Lizzy built a strong reputation with another family law firm, gaining broad experience in litigation, mediation, appellate advocacy, and case strategy development. She has come to appreciate family law’s balance of unpredictability and structure. Over her career, she has worked closely with senior attorneys, Guardians ad Litem, opposing counsel, and court personnel to ensure that her clients achieve the best possible outcomes in their cases.

Outside of the courtroom, Lizzy is a voracious reader and creative storyteller. A self-proclaimed nerd, she loves video games, Renaissance Faires, and board game nights with friends.
