Attorney Bio
Brandon Cornejo, Esq. Is a litigation attorney based in the Richmond office of Melone Hatley, P.C. Brandon has a diverse legal background in family law, criminal defense, and debt settlement. Licensed to practice in Virginia, his legal career has been defined by his commitment to advocating for clients during some of the most challenging moments of their lives.
Brandon’s law journey began in the Public Defender’s Offices of Martinsville, Pulaski County, and Roanoke City, providing him with extensive courtroom experience. From there, he transitioned to private practice, assisting clients with debt settlement and financial disputes.
At Melone Hatley, P.C., Brandon applies his litigation skills and client-centered approach to family law matters. He is passionate about helping individuals navigate divorce, custody matters, and support cases using his experience as a trial lawyer to advocate for fair and just outcomes for his clients. He believes his ability to analyze complex legal issues, negotiate settlements, and effectively argue his clients’ cases in court makes him a valuable advocate and partner for those facing family law challenges.
Outside of the courtroom, Brandon enjoys an active lifestyle. He is passionate about weightlifting, spending time at the beach with family and friends, and listening to podcasts. He also enjoys taking long walks, using this time to reflect and recharge.
