Drew Ashcraft joined Melone Hatley, P.C. in 2023 as a Litigation Attorney in the Richmond office. Drew has spent thousands of hours in the courtroom fighting for clients and guiding individuals and families through some of life’s most trying circumstances.
Drew graduated from the University of Alabama with his bachelor’s degree in Commercial Business Administration and continued his legal education at Ohio Northern University’s Claude Pettit College of Law. Drew’s legal experience began in Montrose, Colorado as a Deputy State Public Defender within the Colorado Office of the State Public Defender where he represented over 1000 individuals throughout traffic, juvenile, misdemeanor, and felony matters while managing a caseload of roughly 160+ cases at once.
Drew joined Melone Hatley after he was given the freedom to bring his courtroom experience and ability to the family law sector and continue to help clients via empathy, passion, and superior legal advocacy.
Outside of the courtroom, Drew spends as much time as he can with his wife, his golden retriever, his friends / family, and last but certainly not least — his golf clubs.
