Attorney Bio
Amanda Mueller joined Melone Hatley in 2024. She is a skilled family law attorney representing clients in divorce, custody, child support, military family law, and more. She brings years of experience advocating for the rights of children and families in a wide range of complex cases.
Before joining Melone Hatley, P.C., Amanda opened the Columbia office of a national law firm focused on representing men in domestic litigation. She successfully handled cases involving the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act and defended military retirement disbursements. Previously, she served as an attorney for the South Carolina Department of Social Services, where she managed over a thousand abuse and neglect cases and trained various community partners in child and vulnerable adult protection.
Amanda holds advanced training from the National Family Law Trial Institute and is active in the South Carolina Bar’s Children’s Law Section and Mock Trial program. A University of South Carolina School of Law graduate, she has also taught legal studies as an adjunct professor at South University’s Columbia Campus.
