Attorney Bio
Stephanie S. Hoffman joined the Charlotte office in 2024 as a Litigation Attorney, bringing extensive courtroom knowledge from a diverse career in civil and criminal litigation. Stephanie joined the State Attorney’s Office in Fort Myers, Florida directly after law school and gained invaluable experience handling witnesses and building cases from simple theft to drug trafficking with dozens of jury trials under her belt. After almost a decade of public service, Stephanie joined a civil litigation defense law firm focusing on car accidents, medical billing, and fraud detection. Upon moving to North Carolina, she joined an estate planning firm, focusing on trusts and elder law.
Stephanie graduated from the University of Miami School of Law in 2005 and is licensed to practice in Florida and North Carolina. She earned a BS in Political Science from Kenyon College in 2002 and currently chairs its Charlotte alumni association.
Ms. Hoffman is a proud Florida native with deep family ties to North Carolina. She shares a home with her husband, two children, two dogs, and one mother-in-law. In her spare time, she volunteers for various social causes, including Wills for Heroes, and plays cello in the Stateline Community Orchestra.
